CA. Ramesh Prabhu is hailed as the Architect of Deemed Conveyance, he has been instrumental in helping and guiding thousands of societies in Maharashtra.

He was a member of the committee constituted by the Government to Study and make the amendment to Maharashtra Ownership Flat Rules, 1964 to incorporate the amendments done in the Act.

He is founding chairman of the MahaSewa (Maharashtra Societies Welfare Association) which has been formed mainly to assist the Co-operative Societies and their Office Bearers of the societies, to smoothly run the day-to-day affairs of the society under the provisions of Act, Rule, and Bye-law it also has its own in-house monthly publication, “MSWA’s Housing Societies Review”, dealing with all kinds of society-related matters as well as real estate sector.

His expertise has been utilized during the amendments made to the MCS Act, the framing of various rules, the compilation of the draft RERA Act, etc.

A prolific author, he has penned over 40 books addressing critical issues in the cooperative housing sector, including conveyance, flat transfers, parking, dues collection, redevelopment, stamp duty, and GST for housing societies.

His contribution to RERA education includes four comprehensive books and the editorship of the WIRC MahaRERA Practice Manual and the MSWA Housing Societies Review.
